►►► We will celebrate the 10th edition this year in Grenoble after Paris in 2010 (ESIEE), Grenoble in 2012 (TIMA), Toulouse in 2013 (LAAS), Annecy in 2014 (SYMME), Paris in 2015 (IEF), Bordeaux in 2016 (IMS), Lyon in 2017 (LGEF, LaMCos, Ampère), Besançon in 2018 (FEMTO-ST) and Blois in 2019 (GREMAN, INSA Val de Loire).

►►► The aim of JNRSE 2021 conference is to bring together researchers working on energy conversion, harvesting and storage, especially at small scale, as well as on the design of complete self-powered devices. Young researchers, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows, have the opportunity to present their works through oral presentations or posters. Moreover, invited talks from renowned French and international researchers complete the program of the conference (all the presentations will be in English).

►►► The emergence of new collaborations, or the reinforcement of existing ones, between academia and/or industry is also one of the objectives of this conference.

Topics included:

  • Systems, Applications and Innovative concepts for energy harvesting
  • Materials for energy conversion and energy storage
  • Thermoelectricity and photovoltaic devices
  • Mechanical energy harvesters
  • Micro & nano generators
  • power management circuits and energy extraction strategies
  • Microbatteries and supercapacitors
  • Wireless Power Transfer

Invited Speakers

►►► Christian Vollaire (Centrale Lyon / Ampère) - Microwave & Inductive Wireless Power Transmission

►►► Noëlla Lemaitre (CEA - INES) - Organic & Perovskite PV technologies for indoor energy harvesting

►►► Aldo Romani (U. Bologna) - Energy harvesting techniques for piezoelectric transducers

►►► Christophe Lethien (IEMN) - Powering Internet of Things Devices with high performance 3D Li-ion micro-batteries and micro-supercapacitors

►►► Daniel Hoffmann (Hahn-Schickard) - Adaptive Energy Harvesting Systems – Approaches and Challenges

►►► Saibal Roy (Tyndall) - Meso to MEMS scale Vibrational Energy Harvesting Employing Micro/Nano-magnetics
